Ben Block

Born and raised in Arizona, Ben Block is an aspiring choreographer, dancer, production crew employee, and lover of the arts. He has spent his time at Arizona State University studying Dance Education and Sustainability and plans to graduate in 2023. Ben has had the pleasure of performing with Fenix Independent, a competitive winterguard group based in Tempe, Arizona.
Brayden Guentzel

"thank you. i love you. you survived."
Brayden Guentzel was a former competitive dancer with Madill Performing Arts Center under the direction of Jennifer and Dustin Hagen. He has done, and is currently doing, work and performances with associate and resident professors of the university including, David Olarte, Mary Fitzgerald, Carley Condor, Keith Thompson, and Adam McKinney. He has also been involved in numerous dance, theater, and residency performances within the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Brayden’s most recent choreographic works have been seen at Tempe Center for the Arts for Carley Conder’s Breaking Ground Festival in 2022, Margaret Gisolo Dance Theater, The Galvin Playhouse, and Gammage Auditorium.
Youngjoo Jang

"Parabellum"
Youngjoo Jang is a choreographer, dance artist, and student in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arizona State University Herberger Institute for the Arts and Design, set to graduate in spring 2023. Her choreography has been featured in Greasepaint Youtheatre’s production of Descendants and ASU's Head over Heels. She has performed in the work of Esteban Rosales at the 2022 Blaktinx Dance Festival, Geli Santarsiero’s Mind Universe, and Showout Dance Competition with Jukebox Family. Jang strives to continue to explore the gaps of missing intersections between contemporary dance, Hip Hop, and East Asian cultural influences as can be seen in her newest work, “Parabellum.”
Shea Johnson

"the butterfly effect"
Shealyn “Shea” Johnson is a fourth year dance education student at Arizona State University. She has studied various forms of dance, including but not limited to, jazz, postmodern contemporary, musical theatre, and contemporary ballet. She performed in a full length thesis work by Takela King, and completed an internship under the direction of Ashley Bauer Webb at Learning Foundation and Performing Arts where she choreographed several works for their advanced dance classes. She has also been in a variety of theatre productions in the valley as dancer, actor, and assistant choreographer, including Little Women, Seussical, and The Great Gatsby. if not love persevering will be her first choreographed work presented at Arizona State.
KiAnna Raine

"Katherine's Garden"
KiAnna Raine is a visual, movement and body artist from Tempe, Arizona. She currently studies dance education at Arizona State University. Her artistry is rooted in Afro-Somatic philosophy and theology. She is a student of the fine and folk, who explores the expansive nature of art and movement.
Eva Patricia Rincón

"Stephan's Quintet"
Eva Rincón is an emerging dance artist, costume maker, and social activist currently attending Arizona State University (ASU) in pursuit of a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, Dance after having completed her Associate’s in Fine Arts, Dance at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC). She has performed as both a showgirl and a gogo dancer for various performing companies such as BOSS Entertainment, Insomniac Entertainment, Cleodora Productions and toured the southwest with the Suicide Girl’s Blackheart Burlesque. Currently, her focus has turned towards providing support for her surrounding communities by volunteering with grassroot organizations Feed Phoenix, Hoes4Humanity, and Sidewalk Project.
Monica Rivas

"Carta de Amor"
Monica Guardia is a Mexican-American dancer and dance maker originally from Phoenix, Arizona. She graduates from the Arizona State University with a BFA in Dance Education in the spring of 2023. She has worked with Vanessa Sanchez, Oaklee Wilkinson, Raphael Xavier, Tanya Dimitrov, Alyssa Calavno, and Liz lerman. She is deeply drawn to commitment to social justice issues, radical healing, and ancestral guidance. She is incredibly grateful for her mentors, teachers, students, ancestors, family and, most importantly, her parents and husband for their endless support and love.
